Oh, and I said “transactions” because unlike some other places that just take a couple of cents and have you verify that amount, these guys take the full amount but in two transactions and hold your money while they wait for verification from you. They didn’t even provide an email receipt… on purchase I just got an email outlining their process and what I need to do for the verification process but not items specifics or receipt.

Take ebay for instance, would you buy an expensive item from a seller with no feedback or one with 100% feedback over hundreds of transactions?

Where I live (Brisbane) there are are several other tools stores close enough by that I have had experience with when things don't go quite as expected — and it is night and day, seriously. So I am done with Sydney tools, for good. I noticed they had a sign up in the store that suggested they had a 5.0 star rating on google reviews. Interesting, I thought — I'll have to check that out. Hmmm. Oddly, couldn't find anything on google reviews corresponding to Sydney Tools, but _did_ find this thread. So now you have my review instead!

I am suprise anyone has trouble with them as i can honestly say, i have found them excellent. Perhaps give Jack a call at the Brookvale store, and see if he can help out.

It took them 1 whole week to acknowledge my order, they didn't even ship it out until I called them. I ordered locally expecting it during the week. Shipped 1 week later.

Good to hear. Just realised the combo I was looking at is almost a $200 saving compared to buying locally. Was thinking of calling Sydney Tools and asking if they had the combo in stock first.

I put the items in my basket, call the store to make sure it’s in stock. Then it’s ready for click and collect 10 mins later.

Their prices aren't that cheap to warrant this and with all these mistakes they are simply costing themselves MORE money and eating further into their own margins.

this morning i ordered the Hitachi triple hammer impact kit set from Sydney tools with express delivery, when i got аркада казино home to check on it i noticed that it had these white smudges on it with random minor scratches a 5mm cut to the back of the rubber layer just wondering if this is normal with a *brand new tool* not really sure how it could have even got those scratches and smudges when its in its own box.

But then you'll end up with too many, lol. May as well get decent ones to start with? The Stahlwille ones have a nice design and good manufacturing and aren't outrageously expensive compared to Snap-On.

Their free freight deal is pretty good considering where I live and the associated costs. I have had only one dispute, over a Makita impact driver. That one took 3 months to sort out. I was really frustrated at their lack of customer service in resolving the issue.

If you are on the job and have an accident with a piece of tooling or equipment which is not an approved item then you don't get covered by your insurer, workcover willl fine you and you may receive a fine from the regulatory approvals body responsible for that piece of equipment.

It's more about having a solid track record to bolster your claims. When you're a first time poster, you don't have that track record, so how can you honestly expect anyone to trust who you really are?
